Local data stays local.

1. Overview

Klientivo is designed to work locally on the user's device. It does not require a Klientivo account or a Klientivo server.

2. Data entered by the user

The user may enter business details, client contact information, appointments, notes, contraindications, recommendations and purchased-product information. This information is stored in the application's local encrypted data vault on the user's device. The developer does not receive or have access to this information.

3. PIN and encryption

The user creates a personal PIN on first launch. The PIN protects the local data vault and is not transmitted to or recoverable by the developer. Losing the PIN may make locally stored data inaccessible.

4. Backups and transfers

Klientivo can create encrypted .klientivo backup files. The user chooses where to save or transfer each file using operating-system controls. The developer does not receive the backup. The user is responsible for protecting backup files and sharing them only with authorised persons.

5. Data collection by the developer

The Klientivo application does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, appointment records, client records, business information, PINs or backup contents. It does not sell application data or use it for tracking.

6. Permissions and third parties

The application uses operating-system file controls only when the user chooses to export or restore a backup or select a business logo. Klientivo does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

7. User responsibility

The business using Klientivo is responsible for having a lawful basis to record client information, providing any required privacy notice, managing access to the device and creating secure backups. Users should avoid entering information that is not necessary for providing their services.
